The Value of a Thing

Another favorite quote of mine is this:
"The cost of a thing is that amount of life
which must be exchanged for it"

I try to think about this one when I go shopping and consider if something is really a bargain or not. Would I be willing to work for, say one hour for something that may end up never being used and end up just being clutter?? It's a new perspective to think about.
